Just a very quick post to let you know that there’s a Community Meeting about Beechley Drive, planned for Mon 31st March in Pentrebane Community Centre. There’ll be refreshments available from 6.45pm, and the meeting is planned to run from 7pm-8pm.

Jehu’s Project Manager, Daimon will be there as well as the Site Manager Gary; they’ll be able to answer any questions you have about the progress of the build itself; while the Cadwyn project team will be giving a short update you on plans for local employment and training and community benefits opportunities.

It’s a chance for you to ask any questions you have about the project, and also to tell us what businesses you’d like to see in the  new development- the Londis and the chip shop will take up two units, but what other shops or businesses would be most useful to you? A chemist? A post office? A baker’s? Although we can’t offer any guarantees, we will do our utmost to approach businesses that you need in Pentrebane.
